JOB SUMMARY 
Swift Worldwide Resources are currently looking on behalf of our client for a Project Controls Manager for a position in Nigeria, Africa. The position will be on a residential basis on an ongoing contract with a start date to be ASAP.

The Project Controls Manager is responsible for the coordination of the project cost and schedule control activities, including compliance with Company policies and procedures, development and maintenance of controls systems to support contracting strategies, and contract administration. The position is responsible for establishing and maintaining interfaces with key stakeholders of the projects, and provides accurate and timely reports. Provides supervision for the production of cost reports detailing budgets, approved changes, commitments, and forecasts from available information and historical trend analysis. In addition, the responsibilities of the Project Controls Manager include developing and managing the overall Project Controls Team, ensuring appropriate quality of cost /schedule estimates and risk analysis using Company's cost assurance process, benchmarking and optimizing scope by using cost targets that lead to top quartile project cost outcomes, establishing appropriate financial control processes, forecasting and managing cash flow, implementing an effective cost and schedule trending process, ensuring project reports effectively communicate project status, ensuring Project Execution Plan incorporates best practices for progress reporting and project controls, and ensuring proper close out of project controls.

Tools in place include a multi-user Primavera server-based resource loaded project schedule, detailed Kildrummy Cost Manager reporting systems, MS-Access-based ad hoc systems for transferring cost data between Company ERP systems and Kildrummy Cost Manager. This position is pivotal to the coordination of project controls deliverable for three separate delivery teams under one funding umbrella, so the successful candidate will have had considerable experience coordinating with independent teams while driving his own team toward excellence. AACE certification helpful.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* BS preferred or equivalent experience BSc (UK)
* 20+ years experience.
* Kildrummy Cost Manager if possible, Primavera experience, MS Access with ODBC, Excel, Word, familiarity with Total Cost Management framework of AACE
